DF 5:1

Depending on sling size we either use standard round- or flat bottom connectors. Sling information tag with serial numbers and other important information is attached.

Capacity tag with all ASME required sling angles.

Sling legs are clearly identified for use in a bridle sling configuration and incorporate our Check-Fast® Inspection System.

Note that the minimum end-fitting capacity must be equal or higher than the VERTICAL (90°) SINGLE leg capacity. See table below.

The variety of end fitting choice is astronomical, so please select Rigger’s Choice®, Crosby®, Green Pin® or any other Hardware as an end fitting.
When selecting hardware remember that a DF 5:1 is required, means any CHAIN hardware WLL has to be converted from 4:1 to 5:1.

Note that 1- and 2 leg slings are made with Rigger’s Choice® Master Links, and 3-and 4-leg slings are made with Rigger’s Choice® Master Link Sub-Assemblies. Other links (Crosby, CM, Gunnebo, etc.) are available upon request.

All slings are connected to Master links or Sub-Links with Rigger’s Choice® Web-Connector Code No. C8-WSC-xxx-RC.

Rigger’s Choice® fittings are attached the same as grade 80 chain fittings. Tools are required to connect and disconnect the fittings. This is regarded as a more permanent connection.
