PowerPoint® WPP-S Universal Connection

PowerPoint WPP-S

The first generation of lifting points for welding with a universal connection for every slinging means (hook and ring assemblies, endless sling chains, round slings, loops, etc).

Provided with a double ball-bearing, which enables jerk-free tilting, swiveling and turning.

The optimized design avoids the damaging of both the slinging means and the precious load when swiveling.

Version WPP-S: the standard universal welding connection, using eye hooks for ring assemblies, round slings, wire ropes, hook assemblies, etc.

It is not suitable for permanent swiveling under full load.

Load Ring Thread LBG-RS Metric

Posted on:

Ring Bolt LBG(3)-RS

Stainless lifting point with a special bolt.

The load ring pivots and additionally swivels in all directions.

Before loading, adjust the load ring to the direction of the applied force.

Only a single tapped bore is required.

INOX-STAR Metric

Posted on:

INOX-STAR-Eyebolt

Pentagonal design. Clearly distinctive in comparison to the DIN 580 eye bolt.

Identification: clear WLL indication for the most unfavourable load direction F (not permissible for DIN 580).

With a forged ring body out of the material 1.4462, 100% electromagnetic crack detected and with a 4:1 design factor.

Ensure an appropriate bore depth to facilitate an optimal sitting of the engaging surface.

Without an additional washer, screw the INOX-STAR into the work piece until the seat-engaging surface of the hexagon socket bolt in the INOX-STAR evenly lies on the surface of the work piece.

The thread bore countersink is equal to the effective diameter of the thread.
Always make sure that the hexagon socket bolt is tight before loading.

When impact loaded or operated in environments with skewing and vibrations, unintentional loosening can happen, especially if through bolts with nuts are used.

Securing possibilities: use of a liquid thread securing medium, e.g. Loctite (follow the manufacturer’s recommendations).

In a tightened condition, the INOX-STAR must be able to swivel up to 360°.

Before loading, adjust the assembly to the direction of the applied force.

A captive hexagon socket bolt, special bolt.

The INOX-STAR is patent protected: GM 9402014, and further industrial property rights are registered under GM 9316475.

Socket Wrench for Starpoint VRS

The safety against the disengaging of the bolt connection of lifting points is mainly influenced by the torque of the bolt.

Lifting points, which permanently remain on the point of the force introduction, must be tightened according to the corresponding user manual.

For permanent use, the lifting points for bolting must be checked regularly for tightness.

The cranked socket wrench for the Starpoint-Vario-eye bolt enables an easy tightening with a suitable torque.

# Observe the user manual for Starpoint VRS and socket wrench.
# Socket wrench is nickel-plated, therefore also suitable for INOX-STAR.

Bolts for VLBG

Bolts 10.9 magnetically crack tested –
Shortening Fee

100% crack detected hexagon head and socket bolt for the assembly of the VLBG.

The hexagon socket bolt is with a snap ring so that it can be captively mounted with the VLBG.

Adaptor ASPA

Adaptor ASPA

Thread adapters should only be used as a reducer for already existing threads to allow the attachment of high tensile RUD lifting points.

The thread adapters are marked with the inside and outside thread diameters.

Attention: never use DIN 580 or standard type eye bolts in combination with RUD thread adapters!

The WLL of the adapter is matched to the WLL of the RUD lifting point.

The thread adapter provides spanner flats for a wrench, a groove for a hook spanner, and a hole for an assembly pin.

Load Ring Thread RBG 8/VRBG 10 u. 16

Eye Plate-Threaded VRBG

The special relief lugs protect the securing bolt against bending and shearing loads. This provides additional safety.

Stowable with smaller bolts and thus low profile.

Load Ring Thread RBG 3

Eye Plate-Threaded RBG-3

The relief lugs protect the securing bolt against bending and shearing loads. This provides additional safety.

Stowable with smaller bolts and thus low profile.

A forged ring according to EN 1677-1, quality grade 80, electromagnetic crack detected and coloured red.

It is in compliance with the approval requirements of the respective employers’ liability insurance association (BG).

Eye Nut RM UNC Thread

Posted on:

Eye Nut RM-UNC

With the following characteristics, distinctive in comparison to the conventional DIN-eye nuts.

An octagonal shape symbolizing quality class 8. Coloured red, the identification colour of quality class 8.

Identification: clear WLL indication for the most unfavourable load direction F2 (not permissible for DIN 581).

Swiveling movements must be avoided during transportation.
Not suitable for swiveling under load.

It does not automatically adjust to the direction of pull, hence not permitted in the mining industry.
