Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 s\u2019applique aux torons et NON au c\u00e2ble. Les torons complets passent \u00e0 travers une s\u00e9rie de matrices qui compriment le toron et forcent les fils individuels \u00e0 prendre une surface ext\u00e9rieure plate. On applique ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 apr\u00e8s que le c\u00e2ble soit fabriqu\u00e9 et on comprime toute la circonf\u00e9rence du c\u00e2ble.
