Ces fils d\u2019acier de carbone se pr\u00e9sentent en grades vari\u00e9s. Les c\u00e2bles d\u2019acier sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement faits d\u2019acier trait\u00e9 de tr\u00e8s haute qualit\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Extra Improved Plow Steel\u00a0\u00bb (EIPS) ou de \u00ab\u00a0Extra Extra Improved Plow Steel\u00a0\u00bb (EEIPS) qui est plus ou moins \u00e9quivalent \u00e0 une force de traction du fils de 1,960N\/mm\u00b2 et 2,160N\/mm\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>Comme on peut le constater sur les tableaux la diff\u00e9rence dans les forces du c\u00e2ble en augmentant la force de traction du mat\u00e9riel est seulement de 10 %.<\/p>\n<h2>Facteurs de Remplissage (Densit\u00e9 du c\u00e2ble)<\/h2>\n<p>Afin d\u2019augmenter la force de rupture d\u2019un c\u00e2ble d\u2019acier il y a lieu d\u2019augmenter le facteur de remplissage du c\u00e2ble.<\/p>\n<p>Le facteur de remplissage mesure la coupe transversale m\u00e9tallique du c\u00e2ble et la compare \u00e0 la surface limit\u00e9e par le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble. Les constructions traditionnelles de c\u00e2ble ne remplissent le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble que jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 environ 58 % avec de l\u2019acier. Les c\u00e2bles Python&reg; et Compac&reg; remplissent le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble jusqu\u2019\u00e0 80 % avec de l\u2019acier. C\u2019est une augmentation m\u00e9tallique d\u2019environ 38 % ce qui se traduit par une augmentation similaire dans la force du c\u00e2ble.<\/p>\n<p>Deux m\u00e9thodes peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es.
