De nos jours beaucoup de c\u00e2bles d\u2019acier sont &#34;compress\u00e9s&#34;, &#34;calibr\u00e9s&#34; ou &#34;die formed&#34; ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication aplatit les fils ext\u00e9rieurs et aux yeux d\u2019un inspecteur inexp\u00e9riment\u00e9, ces c\u00e2bles pourraient appara\u00eetre abras\u00e9s alors qu\u2019ils sont flambant neufs. Si vous h\u00e9sitez quant au type de c\u00e2ble, inspectez la section du c\u00e2ble qui n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 assujettie \u00e0 une fonction abrasive : par ex. les enveloppes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur les tambours ou la section en arri\u00e8re de la terminaison.<\/p>\n<p>Les fils ext\u00e9rieurs ronds de c\u00e2bles d\u2019acier standard vont s\u2019aplatir \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur \u00e0 cause de la friction au contact des tambours, poulies ou autre mat\u00e9riel abrasif tel que le sable ou le gravier. Cela fait partie de la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration normale de travail du c\u00e2ble et dans la plupart des installations de grues il y aura une abrasion relativement \u00e9gale. <strong>Toutefois, si l\u2019usure d\u00e9passe 1\/3 du diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble il faudra remplacer le c\u00e2ble.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0000;\"><strong>Une bonne approche est de faire une comparaison entre une section du c\u00e2ble qui n\u2019a PAS subi de courbure pendant son travail ( par ex. les enveloppes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ou une courte section en arri\u00e8re de la terminaison) et une section du c\u00e2ble la section du c\u00e2ble \u00e0 inspecter.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00eame proc\u00e9d\u00e9 s\u2019applique lorsqu\u2019on veut \u00e9valuer une diminution possible du diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble pendant sa vie de service (voir la colonne suivante).<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td rowspan=\"5\">\n<h2>R\u00e9duction du diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble d\u2019acier<\/h2>\n<p>Tel que mentionne pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment dans la section &#34;<a style=\"display: inline; font-size: 1em;\" title=\"Mesurer le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unirope.com\/fr\/introduction-mesurer-le-diametre-du-cable\/\">Mesurer le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble<\/a>&#34; et dans la section &#34;<a style=\"display: inline; font-size: 1em;\" title=\"La p\u00e9riode de rodage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unirope.com\/fr\/premiere-utilisation-de-votre-cable\/\">La p\u00e9riode de rodage<\/a>&#34; le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble d\u2019acier va diminuer l\u00e9g\u00e8rement apr\u00e8s son installation. C\u2019est tout \u00e0 fait normal et c\u2019est d\u00fb \u00e0 l\u2019ajustement de tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments du c\u00e2ble lorsqu\u2019il est charg\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois. Pour \u00e9valuer la diminution du diam\u00e8tre, vous devez mesurer le c\u00e2ble lorsqu\u2019il est neuf et vous devez \u00e9galement mesurer le c\u00e2ble apr\u00e8s la p\u00e9riode de rodage sous une charge sp\u00e9cifique. Cela vous donnera une bonne id\u00e9e de la diminution de diam\u00e8tre initiale pour l\u2019usage sp\u00e9cifique de votre c\u00e2ble. La lecture de la dimension du diam\u00e8tre pris apr\u00e8s la p\u00e9riode de rodage ne devrait pas devenir votre &#34;jauge&#34;. Ne comparez pas le diam\u00e8tre du c\u00e2ble que vous \u00eates sur le point de mesurer avec le diam\u00e8tre tel que d\u00e9crit dans &#34;le catalogue&#34;. Cela pourrait vous donner une fausse indication puisque le c\u00e2ble d\u2019acier pourrait avoir une tol\u00e9rance sup\u00e9rieure jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4 % \u00e0 5 % de plus que le diam\u00e8tre du &#34;catalogue&#34;.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous d\u00e9celer une r\u00e9duction additionnelle du diam\u00e8tre lorsque vous mesurer le c\u00e2ble sous les m\u00eames conditions de charge que la p\u00e9riode de rodage, c\u2019est souvent d\u00fb \u00e0 une abrasion excessive des fils ext\u00e9rieurs, une perte du support de l\u2019\u00e2me, une corrosion interne ou externe, une d\u00e9faillance des fils int\u00e9rieurs et\/ou une abrasion des fils int\u00e9rieurs. Toutefois, il y aura toujours une l\u00e9g\u00e8re et constante r\u00e9duction du diam\u00e8tre tout au long de la vie de service.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0000;\"><strong>La d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de l\u2019\u00e2me, lorsqu\u2019elle survient, se traduit par une r\u00e9duction plus rapide du diam\u00e8tre. Lorsqu\u2019on le remarque, il est temps de remplacer le c\u00e2ble.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Il n&rsquo;est pas toujours facile de d\u00e9cider si oui ou non un c\u00e2ble est s\u00e9curitaire. Il convient d&rsquo;\u00e9valeur un ensemble de conditions vari\u00e9es mais souvent non reli\u00e9es.
