The Gator-Flex® Sling Body is made from thousands of individual wires making it the most flexible sling construction. SUPER SLINGS FOR THE SUPER LIFT.
The 54-strand body is made into two different style slings: Regular Gator-Flex® slings with Uni-Loc®- or Tell Tuck splice, and into Gator-Laid® slings for short length applications.

Rope Characteristic:
Gator-Flex® slings are spliced in two different styles: Up to 2" diameter we use a UNI-LOC® steel/ aluminum sleeve method and from 2-1/4" upwards the slings are hand spliced without any sleeve at all.

Shortest sling length:
Up to 2" diameter – 2x eye length plus 22x body diameter;
2-1/4" & up – 2x eye length plus 50x body diameter

(1) Rated Capacities are based on a D/d ratio of >5:1 for the body of the sling and 1:1 for the sling eye.
(2) Rated Capacity are based on a D/d ratio of >5:1 for the body of the sling, D/d 1:1 for the sling eye, and choking angle greater than 135°.
ALL sling angles refer to the HORIZONTAL angle.

Important:
The minimum bending radius (D/d ratio) for the sling body is 5:1 where "D" is the pin or load and "d" is the sling body.
The minimum bending radius (D/d ratio) for the sling eye is 1:1 where "D" is the pin or load and "d" is the sling body.
The ratings shown for Gator-Flex® slings include an allowance for splicing efficiency and the above mentioned D/d ratios and are based on a Design Factor of 5:1.
