| Main Applications:
Python® Elite is a 12-strand rotation resistant wire rope for overhead
cranes as well as mobile and truck cranes.
Special rotation-resistant feature prevents most of the unwanted block
twisting on overhead- and mobile cranes. Can be used as replacement for
19x19 ropes.
Rope Characteristic:
The core is plastic coated to prevent metal to metal contact between inner-
and outer strands and greatly reduces internal, undetectable, wear and
abrasion. Also, the core is twisted in the opposite direction of the outer
strands making this rope rotation-resistant.
Python® Elite is the extension of our Python® Multi concept except
that it has 12 outer strands and is strand compacted. The application
will be on overhead cranes which require a rotation resistance rope type
which is beyond what Multi can provide. It can also be used instead of
OEM provided 19x19 ropes if material fatigue resistance is of main importance.
