Twin-Path® Synthetic Slings

Lifting an 800 ton ship at the St John Shipyard, in St. John NB, Canada. A series of frigates were built in modular style, this means that each frigate was built in 3 sections in a large "under roof" shipyard.

There have been greater single lifts done using Twin-Path® slings, eg. a single reactor lift, however, the slings for the Frigate program, over a long period of time, performed over 50 lifts in a harsh industrial environment. We at Unirope Ltd., still regard these multiple lifts as the "WORLD RECORD HOLDER" for synthetic lifting slings.
