  Many jurisdictions and many demanding industrial environments require that all hooks need to have a safety latch; inclu-
ding shortening hooks. This pin-latch
design is easy to handle and requires
only a minimal amount of time. Only disadvantage is that an extra connector
is required to attach the chain which
makes the master link a little cluttered.
